We’re looking for two (2) experienced Inventory Control Supervisors to join our team based at our Houston location, and travel 30% of the time to other stores within the Houston, TX and surrounding Greater Houston, TX area. Key Responsibilities:

· Supervises and trains inventory control clerks, administrative support staff, and store personnel on inventory procedures, WIC product compliance, and company policies across assigned store locations.

· Oversees/reviews the audits, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations of assigned store locations to identify discrepancies, reduce shrink, and maintain optimal stock levels of WIC-eligible products.

· Coordinates with Store Directors, Warehouse teams, and Vendors to resolve supply chain disruptions and ensure timely product replenishment.

· Reviews performance data, prepare work schedules, and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

· Two years’ experience in the specialty grocer industry:

· Monitoring and maintaining Women, Infants, & Children (WIC)-eligible product inventories across multiple retail locations, ensuring compliance with federal program standards across 11 food categories including specialty infant formulas.

· Conducting audits and inventory reconciliations specific to WIC-regulated products to identify discrepancies, reduce shrink, and ensure program compliance.

· Coordinating with Inventory Control Supervisor to liaise with Store Directors, Warehouse teams, and Vendors to expedite replenishment of WIC-eligible items, as needed.

· Analyzing slow-moving or excess WIC stock and supporting seasonal planning and product transitions to maintain uninterrupted availability for enrolled families.

Roxann Borgman joined the Grocery Services Inc. management team as the Director of Human Resources in January 2025 and is responsible for the development and implementation of effective HR strategies, processes, and practices for corporate and the field. Before becoming part of the management team, Roxann applied her extensive Human Resources expertise throughout the years in the metals recycling and hospitality sectors. Roxann's an accomplished professional with a proven ability to develop and implement strategies that support our business and people objectives. Roxann earned her Bachelor of Science in Political Science from University of Houston - Downtown and a Masters of Professional Studies in Human Resources and Employment Relations from The Pennsylvania State University.

Jimmy E Smith Jr.

General Manager

Jimmy E Smith Jr. joined Grocery Services Inc. in May 2017 as the General Manager and plays a vital role in the development and execution of strategy to support the growth of the Company. In this role, Jim is responsible for asset protection, enforcing both local and federal requirements and codes, maintaining the staff, implementing training procedures, and assisting in developing initiatives for the future of our Company. Prior to joining Grocery Services, Jim served as a U.S. Army First Sergeant (Field Artilleryman) with over 25 years of Active Federal Service to his Country. Jim's ability to train, coach, lead and develop Soldiers in Combat earned him the Bronze Star Medal. Jim is an accomplished leader with an innate ability to motivate those around him by providing necessary resources to ensure their success. Jim applies his skills as a superb team builder, mentor, and leader; to the benefit of our Company.

Steve Sigloch

President

In August 2015, Steve Sigloch joined the Grocery Services Inc. management team as the Company President and is responsible for Business development, implementing new strategies, information services, operational tools and store functions. Before becoming part of the management team, Steve served as a Lieutenant Colonel (Combat Engineer) in the U.S. Army with over 21 years of Active Federal Service to his Country. Steve's success in the military resulted in being awarded the Bronze Star Medal. Steve's an accomplished professional with a proven ability to develop and implement strategies that support our business and financial objectives. Steve earned his Bachelor of Science in Construction Science from Texas A&M University, a Masters of Science in Engineering Management from the University of Missouri at Rolla, and a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College.
